Bio-C-Vitamin

Bio C-Vitamin is a medicinal preparation that has been approved by the Danish Medicines Agency in the category of "Strong vitamin and mineral preparations, etc." since July 20, 1995.

The preparation should not be used for children under the age of two years without the consent of a physician.

Bio-C-Vitamin is a mono-preparation that contains 750 mg of vitamin C and 85 mg of calcium per tablet in the form of calcium ascorbate. Calcium ascorbate has been chosen as the source of vitamin C, because it is a more acid-neutral form that does not change the pH in the stomach.

More and more studies indicate that there are beneficial effects of ingesting vitamin C in doses that are considerably higher than the current recommended daily
